Our Mission
HOME is an art and cultural inspired nonprofit organization. The purpose of HOME is to educate, inspire artistic creativity, and enrich the lives of participants by providing opportunities and resources to people of all ages and abilities.
Our Vision
Inspiring young minds in the Lexington’s Bluegrass region where the hospitality makes everyone feel at home to explore their artistic side of life. With the rising population of international people (i.e. Congolese, Nigerian, Burundian, etc.) HOME strives to integrate the African culture with the American culture so we can all learn from each other.
Our Approach
Youth in the HOME program will explore their own growth and development, their goals for the future, and their goals for close and productive relationships with others. The program promotes poetry, fashion, music, drama, and progress in school. Participants will be involved in service-learning work within the community, which may occur off school grounds.
